The venue is fully wheelchair accessible with bathrooms on the ground floor. There is also a cafe on site (Sage and Grace) open from 8.30am an serving great coffee, lunch, and snacks until about 3pm.
GETTING HERE...
BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT:
The no. 19 tram up Royal Parade is the closest tram stop, connecting with the CBD's Flinders St and Melbourne Central train stations. Get off at the Gatehouse St corner.
You can also come up Swanston St on the east side of the University of Melbourne, getting off at the University tram stop and walking up through campus. Trams that service that stop include 1, 3, 5, 6, 16, 67, 72.
BY CAR:
Parking is available on nearby streets and is metered. Given it is not semester yet street parking should be attainable but is never guaranteed.

Conference catering
Once the conference begins your meals will be provided by two local providers. This includes an opening night dinner, morning teas, and lunches on Thursday and Friday. If you arrive prior to the official start of 1.30pm on Wed 11th, lunch can be purchased at the cafe onsite or nearby.
We will cater for all dietary requirements included in your registration.
Sage & Grace Cafe
The onsite cafe serves great coffee, teas, cold drinks and light meals from 8.30am - 3pm daily. You are welcome to purchase things from here at your own cost.
Lygon Street
Melbourne's famous Lygon Street is about a 15-20 minute walk from the venue. It is Melbourne's "Little Italy" and home to fabulous food, coffee, gelato and more.
Naughton's / Parkville hotel
One of the closest dinner venues to Naughton's or Parkville Hotel on Royal Parade, about a ten minute walk. Think gastro-pub with nice meals and drinks.

If you need accomodation, here are a couple of options that are within a reasonable walking distance to the venue. Melbourne's CBD is only a short tram ride away and also offers many options at a range of prices.
